I tried to read through the threads, but was unable to find a solution. I just installed a new HD7870 Tahiti LE chipset card. It does not seem to work with the client. I get several computation errors before it stops trying to complete tasks. I have the latest ATI drivers and WCG client.
Anyone know what the heck is going on? |

Install gpuz and use it to see if the OpenCL driver is installed- if not then reinstall the catalyst driver and check again

Turns out OpenCL was bugged by rolling back from beta drivers to standard ATI drivers.
----------------------------------------I used ATIman to clean everything off and reinstall drivers. We are cooking now. Amazing how much faster using GPUs is. Thanks for the OpenCL tip! - Impal [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Apr 3, 2013 2:07:00 AM] |

Good to hear that you got it working!
----------------------------------------That card should do about 80-85k ppd :-)
