I have a 2600K machine.
----------------------------------------Had a old EVGA 460GTX in it and worked fine doing one gpu and 7 cpu wu.. I change out the 460GTX for a Saffire 5870 that was working perfectly, use driver cleaner to get rid of all the old nvidia files, install AMD's 13.1 catalst driver package that worked perfectly in another machine, upgrade to BOINC 7.0.58 and cpu WU works fine but the second it starts a gpu wu I get computational error. This is from one of the errored WU: Result Log Result Name: X0930126750751201105260944_ 1-- <core_client_version>7.0.58</core_client_version> <![CDATA[ <message> J - exit code -1073741515 (0xc0000135) </message> ]]> Any ideas? ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by Movieman at Mar 31, 2013 7:04:23 PM] |

Now there, Easter is a good time to do some advanced RTFM ;>) See Start Here FAQ index near bottom for the exact error... you need the AMD APP-SDK :D

Really, well then maybe tell us what option to tick in 13.1 CCC, to make it kick in, pretty please.

There's nothing to tick. Is AMD still supporting the 58xx series with the latest drivers? Maybe try an older version of CCC.

Those who like the latest "supporting" driver for ATI cards will want to bookmark this page: http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx. Interestingly, there seem to be multiple versions of the 13.1 kit [varying sizes], depending on platform. Maybe autodetect will bring on the proper one without having to guess.

That is where I got the package from..I didn't use auto detect, I chose the right one based on my card and OS..
----------------------------------------The heck with it..I have a newer Z77 board here, time to chance, clean format, etc since you guys don't have an answer.. Thanks anyway. ![]() |

Well, we gave you a specific answer that has worked for others for the specific error! FAIK, it's because the OpenCL identification is missing, not found. Look at the BOINC startup log. There's got to be 2 lines per card, general information and an entry of what version OpenCL there is.
