Hi All
----------------------------------------Didn't know where to ask this question... Which is best or most important? My PC shows the following speed ratings Floating Point Speed: 3,198.29 million ops/sec Integer Speed: 11,281.15 million ops/sec Which is best or most important for crunching?

Presume you posted the client benchmarks. At WCG it's mostly Floating Point computing, except for HCC. The FP test is usually quite even no matter what operating system you boot into, but the Integer is often on Linux 50 to 100% higher over Windows. Don't know about OS-X, but it being *nix based, probably too.

There's a "Show us your benchmarks " thread. Post yours there and see what others have come up with. The Integer looks pretty cool for a W7-64 system... My Linux Q6600 does about 12500 and my I7-2670QM does 9600. Both have much lower "Whetstone" as it's called. The I7 reads now under Linux-64

Rob, where do you get the baseline info you posted above?
