Statistics not updating

Hi, I stopped running WCG for quite a while, but recently refreshed my computer and kicked it off again, I can see it running quite happily. 8 tasks chuntering away, but when I checked my statistics it showed no updates. So I have just watched one complete, checked messages and it shows it uploaded, clicked on my grid so it appears to take me to my account, but the last update it shows is about 10 months ago. Any advice? Hate to be doing all this work and not get any credit! laughing

Hi and welcome back.

Lets step through the stats, broadly:

1) Crunch the heck out of the results.
2) Let client upload results files (also referred to as part 1, most important and mostly immediate if internet is up and servers are running)
3) Be patient, for it can take up to 24 hours for the "Ready to Report" to be cleared (part 2), which updates the actual work scheduler. If Ready to Report has not cleared the result will continue to show as "In Progress". Don't worry... it will, earliest when new work is fetched to backfill the client buffer.
4) Visit My Grid > Result Status and see what the results look like... Valid, Pending Validation, Pending Verification and hopefully not Invalid or Error. The Pending Val. and Ver. can take longer before the wingman also returns with a matching result. Average 48 hours, most within 96 hours, some up to 7-12 days and rarely up to 14 days.
5) When Valid, the midday and nightly statistics will include the approved work of the previous 12 hours.

By and large, but as a new (re)starter, first credit could easily take 48-72 hours as all work will be required to also have a wingman verifier until your device(s) have been reestablished as reliable.

Looking at the results page lots in progress, the one that just uploaded is Pending so that is good. But I have 5 others with errors. 4 have

Incorrect function. (0x1) - exit code 1 (0x1)

and the other

exit code 195 (0xc3)

I won't past the remainder of that error message in as looong.

OK fingers crossed just a few hiccups on restarting things and I guess I'll need to monitor it.

Nigel,

If you post a copy/paste list of the result status page, sorted by return date so all the completed work sits at top for easy selection, we can maybe make out particulars of some sciences... which maybe to avoid.
