Computation errors on qm605_00126 & _00149

Hi,

Both of qm605_00126 & qm605_00149 have errored out within a couple of minutes of starting.

When I look at the Result Log for the error it shows

<core_client_version>6.10.58</core_client_version>
<![CDATA[
<message>
Incorrect function. (0x1) - exit code 1 (0x1)
</message>
<stderr_txt>
ERROR:: Exit at: .\nblist.cc line:711

</stderr_txt>
]]>

Looks like others have also had these error out very quickly too.

Hello genhos,
Looks like others have also had these error out very quickly too.
Then this may be a part of the molecule that is shaped in a way that the algorithm cannot handle with the given parameters. The project scientists know how to handle these problems.

Ah, ok. That's fine. Will leave it to the techs/scientists as these seem to be mixed bag units with some people pending validation and others with errors.

Thanks Lawrence.

Re: Computation errors on qm605_00126 & _00149

I've gotten some error WUs on both of my laptops. Just part of the crunching process for this project. If you look at any of these WUs in detail, it isn't uncommon to see 2-4 crunchers come back with error status out of the team of 19, even if everyone else finishes. Just go with the flow and keep crunching away, most of your WUs will finish in time and get marked as valid for your badge calculations.

In time all this research will make our world a better place to live, even if science may not find applications for all of what we crunch now until after some of us are gone (then our kids and grandkids benefit).

Re: Computation errors on qm605_00126 & _00149

If the Result log contains

ERROR:: Exit at: .\nblist.cc line:711

and the job bows out near immediate, 99.9% of the times, or later, nothing can be done about it. The only [old] tip I have is avoiding to run HPF2 at same time as FAAH / HFCC [old AutoDock]. That combo at least for me was jinxed. There's a new AutoDock coming for FAAH, so it's something I will be exposing my comp to, when it launches in production, to see if it's reproducible, which in the labs it is not.
