First off we have the Antec P180 case I like this case vaio. It is a great idea to let the cooling fan of the power supply concentrate on getting heat out of the power supply alone and having a separate cooling fan take heat out of the top of the case where the is maximum heat accumulation. I believe in air flow as the correct way to approach cooling as opposed to spot blowing air on to a hot spots within the system. I will be really interested in seeing some air flow (movement) analysis and diagrams for this case. These tests are carried out by placing a smoke generator at all the intakes of air into the cooling box and monitoring the smoke flow in the case through a transparent side cover. Heat sensors at all critical heat generating spots are also monitored during this test to correlate the air movement with the dynamics of heat change within the case. If you know of any sources of such tests, please post them. |

I am looking for a nice rack mount 4u case for around $250. Mod case sort of thing. All it needs is a p4 800fsb with 4 sata drives so any case will work. Fancy is good.

Nothing stopping you designing your own Vulture/Mouse front and fitting it. Think you would be more impressed with it then. ![]() |

i like my sonata...simple but classy ![]() I see what you mean Mousie, very neat and discreet whereas I go for the flamboyant look. Each to our own! ![]() Same with contents. My 2 BFG GeForce 6800 GT Graphics cards on an SLi system really make it sing. I have not yet found a game that doesn't run with everything turned up to the max. Once you sort out the various problems Windows XP Pro has with seeing 2 graphics cards. [Edit 2 times, last edit by Former Member at Aug 10, 2005 3:32:04 AM] |
