I saw a number of error completions (20+) with the GPU processing on a computer being used for gaming. Is this normal? All of the WUs were sent on 1/7/2013. The last part of the result log is copied below:
CL_DEVICE_COMPUTE_CAPABILITY_NV: 2.1 CL_DEVICE_REGISTERS_PER_BLOCK_NV: 32768 CL_DEVICE_WARP_SIZE_NV: 32 CL_DEVICE_GPU_OVERLAP_NV: CL_TRUE CL_DEVICE_KERNEL_EXEC_TIMEOUT_NV: CL_TRUE CL_DEVICE_INTEGRATED_MEMORY_NV: CL_FALSE Estimated kernel execution time = 2.37737 [sec] ERROR: Kernel execution time estimate too high, exiting. 11:34:29 (8972): called boinc_finish |

This is the startup mini-test to see if your card is fast enough. Maybe your system was very busy at the time. Mine shows similar, all the time, so decommissioned from even trying to run HCC-GPU tasks.

Thanks Rob, this is the only time I have seen this error and I will keep my eyes open for similar instances. I don't want to stop running HCC GPU tasks as I have been doing this for months with no other problems.
