We would love to welcome you on board, but you will need permission from the one who is in charge. We have no idea who is in charge, however, so this makes it a little more difficult.

and here's me thinking you took it in turns to act as a sort of executive officer for the week. (Is that the one in the castle?). But all the decisions of that officer had to be ratified at a special bi-weekly meeting. By a simple majority in the case of purely internal affairs.
