Re: Hello All... Another Grid/UD Defection

Hi John

Good to see you over here.

Yes I agree with you completely. Certain members are making the UD forums a little unwelcoming at the moment which won't be helping their case at all. I was running Cancer only for the same reasons as you! Apparently their Rosetta project is now playing up with only 10 rosetta results posted yesterday for the whole project!!

So are you going to visit us in the "Just Testing Something" Team? Our thread has some very familiar Avvies in there if you happened to venture into the Team GB forum much?

biggrin Re: Hello All... Another Grid/UD Defection

Is this the first post where I get mad and go away?
Oops. Never mind. I'm at the wrong DC project to do that. biggrin
Hello, all... cow

My wife got a powerhouse AMD64 3400+ and I loaded
WCG on it. It is also running UDMonitor with 6 slots. We did not want to
connect each time to send in a workunit, because the computer
blasted out the first one in 1 hour, 46 minutes. I'll process some more overnight and send them in tomorrow.

Welcome EvoDude.

WCG is a great place to crunch and this forum is probably like what the other one used to be before it degenerated into what it is today.

Despite what siscm said about our relative stability (I'm sure we have our share of those who's emotional equilibrium isn't what it ought to be silly ) I've found everyone here to be good people so I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay here.

If it is permitted, I'll plug a team of expatriots, vaio's JTS 2. Look us up if you get a chance. biggrin
