----------------------------------------Remember that most projects do not support GPUs, so runtime still matters as a metric. Personally I think it would have been good to break the points total into two subcategories, GPU points and CPU points. Still show total points but also list the breakdown. Personally I think it would have been good to break the points total into two subcategories, GPU points and CPU points. Still show total points but also list the breakdown. The breakdown I would like to see is between individual crunchers and other crunchers (ie. using more than your personal PCs). |

It's not who I passed, but how many I passed today - 10 (from 623 to 613)!!! What's the engine under the hood that powers these overtakes? Can't overtake with a CPU; there must be an HD7970 there... ; ; andzgridPost#935 ; (only a HD7870).  Man i feel STUPID. I bought a 7870 2 or 3 weeks ago and havne't dropped it in. Partly because i'm building a new machine for it and haven't bothererd. Plus then I have to learn how to do that file that lets more work units run on the GPU... sigh. Tonight at a mininmum i'm goign to pull out the 7750 and drop in the 7870 and see if there is a dif with out all the file changing. And I thought I had passed Uplinger, till the next day when i realized he was just flying on by (me and 15 others or so). I too watch for names, but in the last week i've lost 6 places...  |
