lol and I am still strange. (Ranking GUYS! Come on!!!)

Got it working on this pc. It had something to do with the grid stuff. I used ccleaner and remove the last vestage of grid on this pc and it worked fine.

Grid was loaded on this pc when XP first came out and no os reload has ever been done to it.

indeed...my laptop is now officially 100% linux...only one of my 3 crunchers now runs windows, and that's only part time...so don't expect to see a lot from me... worried
