I am hoping today is the day most my rigs show up finally. If it happens I might get in some good results.
As for grid as soon as I hear definitve good news there I am back. Problem is I don't think I will ever hear it. They are not very good about telling people whats going on. Still I'll bump my thread up over there every week or so and hope for the best. |

Thought I'd put together a quick list of useful to know stuff for anyone making a change from a project to this one as thats kinda the orriginal theme of the team
![]() Personal stats update 4 times a day here (GMT ~6:10am, 12:10pm: 18:10pm and 12:10am), and team stats once ( ~12:10). And the stats update only takes about 10 mins. The Forums are a bit awkward to use - especially then a thread becomes a bit long - but changing the posts per page in you profile to 50 helps. As the size of your sig is limited, more can be fitted through using tinyurl.com and missing out http:// Anyone think of anything else ![]() |

Clicking the icon next to the name of the last poster on a thread will take you to the last page (although it will say it is page 1, just ignore that). If you were running UD and you want to keep your options open. If you have a dedicated machine for crunching then load WCG under a different user and use a different install directory, this will leave UD intact and you can switch between WCG and UD by just logging off one user and logging on another. I use XP and fast user switching on my home PC. I have a user called WCG that runs WCG and stays logged on in the background, whilst my main user which runs all my apps and files can run in the foreground with my UD agent and UDMon cache disabled but still intact. |

recent posts....click the arrow to the right of last poste as Matt said.
----------------------------------------Also note....if you edit a post the thread returns to the first page afterwards and not the last page. Bit muddlesome, but ya get used to things soon enough. Just like the differences between grid and base camp. Oh, and text sizing doesn't seem to work...at least it doesn't for me. UD mon works great with just the WCG client installed....just have to run the ud mon WCG batch file. [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Jul 28, 2005 3:30:33 PM] |

Oh, and text sizing doesn't seem to work...at least it doesn't for me. Doesn't for me too. also quoting doesn't automatically say who you are quoting. and mean you're having to keep looking up the thread to see who wrote something ![]() |

I now try to add the "xyz wrote" bit at the top of a quote to help save confusion. |
