Can a 700 Xeon get done with a task before it times out?

I have one that is 8% done with over 17 hours on it.

Not good. Not good at all.

ouch... timeouts here are similar to cancer units at grid... 2 weeks cpu/3 weeks wallclock.

I think you should be fine cos my 800 Duron is coping......tho she must not have dealt with one of the largest units yet.

It's not just that: it's the 8 min time dalay to update the stats, slightly ledd that 5 hours...

and the 4 personal stats updates a day....

Sorry - it is'nt guinness - got a pic of her as a kit fitting in a guinness pint glass somewhere - try to dig it out

Sadly she isn't trained with a rifle yet (in UK - they're hard to come by wink

congrats VAIO. sure their clocks are slightly slow here... stats updat didn't start until at least 5 past (prolly some tech reason for it) thinking
