The disc usage graph shows a good chunk of my HD as "free, available to BOINC" Is this potentially because the program was installed onto E drive? (C drive is a small windows/drivers only SSD) |

Every project wants more disk space and says, there are 0 MB free. So it looks for me like a quota or ownership problem. I'm not sure where the windows client stores all the project files, but it is most likely an folder named "projects". You can try to locate this folder and try to correct the ownership or permissions.

Could you post the entire log from beginning to end?

Where does it say in your preferences that you have 10GB free? Your log shows that you have limited the maximum use to 10GB, but that doesn't actually mean you have that available.
----------------------------------------As Falconet said, we would like the log from beginning to end. However, we would appreciate it from a fresh start of BOINC so that it minimizes the length. Basically, close (exit the program) BOINC and then start it again. Press the update button for WCG once and then copy and paste the log here. It would be helpful to always state what OS you are using and it would be helpful if you check to see how much space is actually available on the drive where you stored the BOINC data directory. Is this potentially because the program was installed onto E drive? (C drive is a small windows/drivers only SSD) No, this should not be a problem. I have regularly installed BOINC to a separate drive or partition. Do as Coleslaw suggests and do the fresh start and post the log. Cheers
