Hi,
I just got the Grid program, and I ran it while I was at school (all day) by setting it up in the Scheduled Tasks control panel option. I set it to logon as me, and run all day beginning at boot-up. I come home today and I expected to at least have some stats up, but instead I have nothing. It says that I have not completed a work unit, while it takes me 4 hours to complete one (25% = 1 hour for my comp). I then ended the task and booted it up manually and I found that I have to start from scratch again!!! Now I'm at 2% and it really sucks. To further complicate things, it says I have 357 points and that I have 10 hours logged but on the website it says NOTHING. Any ideas? Thanks |

Thanks Currently the statistics are updated once a day which is why you didn't see anything on the site, even if you completed some work units. The agent, however, will display your up to date points on the main screen. All of this is explained on our Points System page. Also, by ending the task (I assumed you killed it via the task manager) you essentialy 'tricked' the agent into thinking it crashed, so it's going to report back to our server that the work unit failed and deliver another one to you, which you will be starting from the beginning (of course). - Rick Alther World Community Grid Application Developer
