Hey guys me again :P
I was wondering if there is a way to move boincs working directory C:\ProgramData\BOINC to a different location so that it doesn not take up space on my OS drive and so that it stops burning up my SSD. After backups and OS I have only 18 GB left and boinc is using a fair chunk of it. Would be great to be able to change this directory ;) |

Rather simple (Steps posted previously on forums ;-)
1) Stop BOINC 2) Uninstall BOINC 3) Copy Data_Dir to location of choice 4) Install BOINC, making sure to point the installer in frame 3, advanced options, to the new data location. 5) After verifying that the new data location is used when BOINC has started up, delete the old data dir. Basta |
