Re: NVIDA & ATI (in the same system)

For what it's worth, I had both an EVGA 560 TI and XFX Radeon 5850 running HCC GPU tasks simultaneously with no cc_config.xml or app_info.xml files. I eventually stopped the 560 since I didn't feel comfortable with running both 24/7 with my current power supply. I have BOINC 7.0.28 64-bit running on Win7.

Re: NVIDA & ATI (in the same system)

I am currently running 2 GTX 580's and 2 HD 7770's in my System (ASUS Rampage III Extreme, i7 970, Corsair 1200 psu, 12 GB ram with Windows 7 64-bit).
I am using 7.0.28. I am now going to see if I can run an app_info.xml to get them all to run multiple GPU-WU's each..

I guess using one of the top-notch mobo's afford you a range of capabilities that may not be available for users of lower notches of mobo's (all other things held the same).
