I have been looking for World Community Grid t shirts to buy with no luck. It would be great to be able to proudly wear them to work and other places. If for some reason I missed the link please direct me there. However if not maybe the logo could be used by Cafepress or some other on demand vendor?
Thanks for for all your great work! Jeff Jones |

I actually have one or 2 but I bought them several years ago when the IBM logo store got rid of their WCG stuff. I don't think there was enough demand to warrant carrying something like that.
----------------------------------------However I don't think there's anything to stop you from making your own t-shirt. You could use something like this for example. http://compare.ebay.com/like/280998583580?var...iceItemTypes&var=sbar ![]() ![]() |

In longer past, one team organized t-shirts for those reaching the first 250,000 points. That could be a costly affair these days. ;)

I haven't worn mine in a while so I would have to go through some boxes to find it but the one that BobCat posted is the one IIRC. I don't remember the stuff on the back but my memory kinda sucks anyway.
----------------------------------------I've only worn pocket-T's for several years now ever since I discovered them. I'm kind of a pack rat so it's those and cargo pants for me. Although now I've discovered this dress shirt that has even more pockets. However it's rather expensive, so now I'm torn. I think I bought one to save and that should still be in the the packaging. If there's interest and we ever have a fund drive, I'll spend the time to look for it and put it up for auction. ![]() ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by twilyth at Nov 18, 2012 1:31:27 AM] |

I agree Twylith. A shirt I cannot stuff even reading glasses into is just useless. My sisters seem to ascribe mystic properties to useless shirts without pockets. As old as we all are, I'm not going to change their thinking now. Lawrence |

My sisters seem to ascribe mystic properties to useless shirts without pockets. As old as we all are, I'm not going to change their thinking now. Lawrence You should check out that dress shirt I linked to. I finally got around to washing mine and I love it. However don't believe their sizing chart. I normally take an XL due to being top heavy from my weight lifting days but based on the measurements they gave I got a large. Bad move. So now I've ordered 3 XL's that I think I'll be very happy with. This shirt is very cool. It seems very well made - for as much as I know about being a seamstress anyway. But it has pockets everywhere. The top pocket is divided in two which will come in handy since I'm forever putting more than one item in there. There are zippered pockets with small tassels under each arm and I think you can thread head phones from them to hidden channels under the collar - but check the link. Finally, there is a pocket in front tail of the shirt. You could easily turn yourself into an easter egg hunting ground for your honey . . . or put the shirt to any number of other nefarious uses. ![]() ![]() [Edit 2 times, last edit by twilyth at Nov 21, 2012 6:19:29 PM] |
