Dear World Community Grid Teams, Members and Admins,
----------------------------------------for Nov 16th to Nov 22nd 2012 SETI.Germany is arranging a challenge at World Community Grid on the occasion of the grids 8th birthday: The 8th Birthday Challenge We would like to invite all teams to participate in the challenge and hope that many of you will be joining. The Atlantic Team does not really participate in challenges, mostly because we are such a small team that the huge teams can turn in in one hour, what we struggle to do in a day. But quite a few of us have implemented an extra WCG push to celebrate its Birthday.
Best of luck to all the teams participating in the challenge, I will watch from the sidelines! ( What good is a sport without spectators?) |

----------------------------------------Of course, it is a challenge, where big teams joined. But nevertheless, there are also many small teams that joined the challenge and WE REALLY FEEL VERY GOOD FOR EVERY TEAM THAT JOINED THIS CHALLENGE, if small or big... Because: It's a challenge that honors this grid and therefore we yearly orgnanizing this birthday challenge. And to be part of the Birthday Challenge is one way to show your participation. With 10 Points or with a couple of million Points; this doesn't matter in a way. Just be with us to celebrate the birthday and feel to be a part of the birthday party!! :D Cheers XSmeagolX

Three days left to join the Birthday Party!
----------------------------------------To get simple and directly in contact, we implemented a shoutbox on our special challenge website . No registration is needed to post. One more feature on our special website will be the stats for this challenge . (They will be activated when the challenge starts. Those stats are updated every hour and give you a view in comparison to the team in front of you and other teams right behind you. So there will be a challenge feeling for all teams, if small or big. Try to overtake the team in front of you or try to defend your position! It's always a challenge feeling on every position ... And it's all for World Community Grid.
