I won't even buy a factory-overclocked card after my experience with a GTS 450 on Folding@home that I related several months ago while this project was still in beta. It is a waste of time with all the troubleshooting you have to do to find the cause of any crashes. To each their own. For something that puts out ~1,000,000 WCG PPD, it was worth a little headache. As long as it ain't a migraine.  |

It wouldn't be any fun if it was just set and forget. I know. But you will eventually just want it to work. One potential problem, though it may not show up in this project because of its short time span, is that work units may vary in difficulty. So a GPU that works fine for a while may start crashing in a few weeks or months. Remember to keep smiling as you search for it. |
