Re: UBUNTU

I haven't found an official answer anywhere, but nobody running Linux has been successful at getting any GPU work.

For official answer, see on "System requirements" http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/help/viewTopic.do?shortName=minimumreq

Based on this page, the GPU-listing, "6. GPU application available", only corresponds to HCC & Windows.

Re: UBUNTU

... I think your list is missing SETI which will run on almost anything. ...

Thanks

Eh ... well ... even SETI does not support GPU computing on linux with the default applications. One have to use "optimized" applications. Or does this have been changed in the last months?

That is pretty easy to miss, thanks.

Re: UBUNTU

By concentrating key project technical information on a single page, there's least maintenance when conditions change. Want to check up, right hand top of My Grid has a link to this matrix.

Re: UBUNTU

Are the GPU WU supported on UBUNTU?

Not here at WCG, only windows has currently any GPU-applications.

I have made so many mistakes i know how to fix all of them now-- smile
