But for me (and I think many others too) the main point is ... Same here, but I actually do know crunchers that are only into distributed computing for the points and badges and to show off their high performance equipment. They crunch whatever project has the best points/runtime-ratio, and may it be the weirdest alien-stuff. Söldner quasi ;) |

Needless to say, as a result of your efforts, we have an enormous amount of data to now analyze. We will certainly share these results with you and the wider community as quickly as possible. We always intended to use this same simulation approach in other parts of the world with similar challenges. In fact, the UVa Team has visited a number of countries already to explore the opportunity to customize the CFSW simulation model for their regions. Was glad to do my bit, although my wee part of Scotland has some of the best quality water on the planet. Hope it always stays that way. |

You're welcome. Maybe someone will devise a way to speed your analyses with which the grid can help.

Very happy to help with two computers running CFSW exclusively for the duration of the project. I live in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed so this was doubly important to me. I grew up in a desert area and know how precious water can be. I hope our work helps not only for the Chesapeake Bay area but all over the "Big Blue Ball." Thanks again for the opportunity to help in this important project. "Everything in moderation, including moderation" -- Mark Twain |

Thank you for the opportunity to help you and take part in the project grid computing side, and wish a lot of luck with the studies over the results. Hope that it bring a real evolution about the Sustainable Water politics. Best Regards.

Glad to be part of your research. I hope your project produces results your looking for. Also hope this project results can be used world wide to help all bodies of water in all countries. Looking forward to crunching more data if you decide more work is needed.

Good luck with your analysis and hopefully we will have a thriving Chesapeake bay.
And you are welcome. |

As a resident of the Chesapeake Bay watershed, thanks for allowing the WCG community to help make a real difference right here at home.
Hope to see additional environmental projects on WCG in the future. |
