Hi Graham!

smile Hi Stefan
Only the qualification period between banners have been revised
The certificates are still awarded 100k, 250k, 500k, 1Mil, 2Mil, etc, etc:
So you will still get a certificate at 250k smile

Looking forward!

With the constant flow of members rushing by Davids position, will you also
create a "Welcome in Brutus Club -- you crunched our Captain" certificate?

Sorry David, just kidding! winkwinkwink

PS: Michael Schumacher is back!!

Stefan.

Re: smile smile Join MyOnlineTeam Today smile smile

It was fun while it lasted, but WCG is off the farm again. Well, periodic point boosts still contribute, and the rest of the systems are still throwing up 15-20k/day, which is nothing to sneeze at. And perhaps eventually I'll be able to leave it running on the farm full-time. Meanwhile, I'll have to enjoy my time in the #1 slot until Joost comes along and blows me out of the water that much sooner since I've lost half my point generators.
wink
P.S. Nice stats pages!

Hey Stefan

I like that idea " You crunched our Captain" we should get T Shirts printed wink.
I'm going to put another 3000+ on the fire by the end of the week and I might even try the Linux Client when it arrives.

I'm not letting that 28th Spot out of my sight biggrin

Well not until the end of the week anyway tongue .

Thanks CompuDude for the boost 15-20K a day is a dream for most of us much less 50-60K!

We're running just short of our 200th Team Mate
Are you out there?

The WCG needs you

DAJ your hypothesis (I spell checked it wink ) is correct

The disk size metric believes you have 9.77Gb even if you don't have 9.77Gb spare as long as you set it in the device settings to 10Gb. As the agent only has a small footprint on your hardrive at the moment and most likely long into the future I recommend in the "What are points all about FAQ" that everyone set it to 10Gb because you get the most points that way and it's fair for everyone

Stefan the 200 point ceiling applies to the overall performance metric so If you get more than 200 for your CPU performance this will still be taken into account. I get 213 for the CPU but 158 overall it's the 158 that is the one that is measured against the 200 ceiling. Even today you are going to need one monster of a PC to be penalised in this way.

Are any crunchers out there suffering from this? So we can be jealous

I still believe that the way to go for crunching is to build 5 3000+ barton powered PC's than building a single dual core 64 bit 4800+.

With one you get a 15000+ and with the other 4800+ and with 5 Old fashioned Bartons you would still have change left over for a bottle of Leffé (and to pay your electricity bill wink)

The Ferrari metaphor is back cool good old Schumy

Re: smile smile Join MyOnlineTeam Today smile smile

actually...i think the ceiling for overall is 300 as well. memory scores can hit 300 easily, network i've personally had over 200 on the grid.org version where it's actually measured. a processor score of 239 and a gig of ram gives me an overall rating of 201(imagine where it'd be if i had the 200+ network score figured in...lol). smile

if you wanna find out who really has monster computers...check the average points per hour statistic. i think i was ranked 201 last time i checked.
