Yahoo!!! The tech came and set up my CPAP machine. Gonna get the first good sleep in about a month. Down for a long summer's nap. Hi Dave I am glad you are going to get a decent night's sleep, before you turn into a grumpy old man |

We haven't had a good stats post for a while so roll up your sleeves and get ready for this.
----------------------------------------The average PC on MOT is a Athlon XP 2800+ Yesterday (when all my troubles seemed so far away - an oldie but goodie ) as a team we ran the equivalent of 368 of them all day producing together an Athlon XP 1030400+ equivalent to a 1THz P4 Our little team adds about 1.1 TeraFlops of raw number crunching power to the supercomputer that is the World Community Grid together we posted yesterday 9424 and a 1/4 (don't forget the quarter) points an hour, 157 points a minute or just over 2.6 points per second which is awesome WCG posted just over 12 Million points yesterday (1/2 Million per hour!) - great to see these kinds of figures again btw - I'd like to thank personally the individual who contributed that 107 point work unit for yesterday it really does make all the difference, cheers to you whoever you may be Little MOT with its 187 Members contributed 1.88% of that total and together the WCG packs a 58TeraFlops supercomputer for raw number crunching power alone which would place us in P3 in the list of the world's fastest supercomputers ![]() (Please see countless posts on why Grid Computing isn't as efficient as a real supercomputer )Still 58TeraFlops isn't to be sniffed at. (Get ready tonight for the weekly Tuesday Peak) Phew I need to lie down now in a darkened room instead it's the M25 aarrgghh If there's anyone out there who would like to pitch in on the great MOT mission (which isn't to get to the top btw ) you are more than welcome to sign up. The more the merrier as you can see from the posts above Got to go Make it a great day Dave ![]() |

Little MOT with its 187 Members contributed 1.88% of (the) total Dave -- Not to bad for a team that started out with a Dad and his two young daughters. Your friend and team mate, |

Hello Graham-- have been gone for awhile the wife is not doing so well. Between the cancer treatments and lymphadema in her arm. She is holding up better than me.We are spending a few weeks in Newport News to be closer to the hospital for treatments. I had to get AOL dial up where we are staying so i could see what was going on they have phone service but no internet service Your teammate Gerald--MarysDuby
