Wish you all the luck fooling the WCG servers into accepting that the combo of OS [family], Hardware etc [5 metrics], are seen as the same device beyond the first connection. I've done it. Woosh no later than 2nd connect. Well, before re-swapping again had reported 5 results, all with different report-times, with 2 reported on one computer and 3 on the other... So, if there's not a problem popping-up if had asked for more work, I've not seen anything to any woosh... ![]() "I make so many mistakes. There is no one-to-one association of device-ID to HR. The blurring of divisions occurs not only because the different hardware may present a similar front, but because HR's accommodate (and logically/rightfully so) different hardware-OS fronts. Another thing is that, in the end, nothing or nobody is tricked, deceived, or fooled. Would WCG think/feel deceived if a cruncher finds a way to move jobs to a different computer? What exactly did a cruncher gain that WCG would think/feel deceived of if a cruncher's job moves to another computer?
