HPF2 work units creating backlog on results list

Is there a reason the WUs my computer has completed for HPF2 are still in the results queue? There is one from APRIL still in the list, followed by 3 from JULY, then continuing into September. There are a total of 11 HPF WUs in my Results Status. The other projects appear to be retrieving theirs...
Just saying...

Re: HPF2 work units creating backlog on results list

Hello terianne929,
There is an unfixed bug that occasionally allows results to hang around on the list for 3 months or so. April is unusual, but they never last forever. It is not specific to HPF2, so you are getting special treatment from the bug.

It is NOT a bug, 3 months is now a rumor, they will clear when they have been sent off to the researchers

Re: HPF2 work units creating backlog on results list

terianne929,

Most recently discussed here, to include the long staying HPF2: https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread_thread,33797

Personally, I don't care what the techs keep/have to keep on the live Result Status pages [I use a sorted RS page view which ensures the very old are always on the last page, then I can cleanly review current day results returns. This is the shortcut working for everyone: http://tinyurl.com/3448g5 ].

One possible reason, the respective HPF2 batch has one or more problem tasks that need to be investigated [prevents auto-migration to master database]. The techs have had a tough time with the servers, so they're quite behind I think with the small stuff. If yours task valid, than it's not your result that is under scrutiny and you can safely...

Crunch On. :D

I also have one from April. It is qd606_ 00013_ 0.

Wonder if it's the same WU?
