I am attempting to connect a new computer to CFSW, to toss a few more cores towards next badge before project ends.
I am getting a download error on initialization. 9/11/2012 12:43:55 PM | World Community Grid | [error] File cfsw.baygame.db has wrong size: expected 11158528, got 2584537 9/11/2012 12:43:55 PM | World Community Grid | [error] Checksum or signature error for cfsw.baygame.db All downloaded WU show Status of Download error and are aborted as ERROR on next Update. I then get the expected 9/11/2012 12:58:07 PM | World Community Grid | This computer has finished a daily quota of 1 tasks I then have to wait 24 hours to try again. I have tried this twice now with same error/result. I am downloading over WiFi I have two other systems running CFSW just fine. Any ideas? |

Whats the OS? Is it Linux?

If the failing machine has the same OS as the working machine, copy the file over from one to the other cfsw.baygame.db , in the right www.worldcommunitygrid.org project folder. Then next time it will say you've got the file. Cause, the cloud has an issue again with the sticky files. No guarantees, but if desperate, then desperate measures (This has been done before with success). |

Falconet, it is Windows 7 64
Rob, I tried a different tack first. I renamed my system so WCG would see it as for the 1st time. Then I added WCG and this time all files downloaded without error. I am crunching away  Thank you both for your replies. p |

I've had this same error twice now on a Windows XP Home (32-bit, SP3) machine. My Windows XP Professional (32-bit, SP3) and Windows 7 (32-bit, SP1) machines process CFSW with no problems.
