Not getting credit for WUs on new computer? [RESOLVED]

I recently bought a new computer and started running WCG on it. I've been crunching CFSW WUs - many are in progress, some are pending validation, some are valid. They appear in my account under "Results Status", annotated with the name of the new device in the appropriate location, but the new device doesn't show under "Device Manager" nor do I seem to have actually gotten credit for them, according to my Member Statistics page. I have waited for statistics to update for a few days but nothing has appeared. Is this a problem with CSFW, my new computer, or something else?

My Grid - My Statistics - Device Statistics should show any device that shows on the Results Status page.

It does not for me. Furthermore, in the "Additional Statistics" section, it says my last result returned came several days ago, but I definitely have Valid workunits returned sooner than that.

Wonder, how did you select to crunch CFSW on that new device?

Re: Not getting credit for WUs on new computer?

CFSW was the only project selected under "My Projects". I explicitly turned off the ability to select from other projects if no work was available.

If you're wondering how I started to crunch for WCG, I installed BOINC 7.0.28 directly from the BOINC website and then attached to my account from there. I can see all the WUs on my new device under Results Status, but I don't receive credit for them anywhere else.

Re: Not getting credit for WUs on new computer?

If you open up My Grid > My Statistics > Device Statistics, does the device list there? Normally all devices that have returned results in recent times list there with a "Last Result Returned" timestamp. There you can also click on the device names to see the daily contribution history per device.

Strike that, as Lawrence asked that and was answered. You can expand the Device Statistics filter to show all devices ever active.

Any impression that the work completed is not adding to your total My Grid statistics?

(Just want to narrow the missing pieces down by eliminating what's working.)

Re: Not getting credit for WUs on new computer?

I don't think it's being added to My Grid.

"Last Result Returned (UTC) 8/30/12 14:16:30 [262+ hour(s) ago]"

In the graphs, there is no work being shown from September 3rd onward, even though I have multiple WUs which are valid from September 8th and 9th, for example. My Points Generated has remained at the same since the addition of my new computer.

Re: Not getting credit for WUs on new computer?

So you see the results being recorded, changing from In Progress via whatever intermediate status to Valid, when you now go to the My Grid > Result Status page [don't log out or in, but you don't see it anywhere added]. Full and complete riddle. The only reason that these things s far have happened is when a member had a second account... check your member name in the BOINC Manager, Project tab.

For now, unless the techs have an answer, this is the end for me on this problem [all plausible issues considered].
