 Good Tuesday That really is odd dkt. I was thinking it worked the other way around that your settings on an individual machine trumped the overall settings (which makes more sense to me). Anyway.. I am not sure of what I am sure of anymore. To get another GPU going I have to buy it and a big (like 750-850) power supply. With Christmas coming, I am thinking that isn't going to happen. Good Afternoon everyone. You're correct RT. Settings on an individual machine set via Advanced, Preferences override profile settings. However, if you look closely, you see you have a My Projects page where you can set the GPU setting. If you look at individual device profiles, you can also set that same GPU setting in them as well. Which one does BOINC use if they are different? Probably whichever one gets saved last. Dave may want to see if that setting varies between his device profiles and his My Projects page. I believe Kevin has said WCG plans to revamp the profiles so you can set the GPU setting in a way that lets everyone do it the way they want instead of having to use the growing number of workarounds so maybe that will fix this as well?b |

Good Wednesday Morning Team Congratulations Mechanical! Ahhh So Keith. I should have known that. Oh well. Today is BBQ Buffet day.
