The place to check would be "My Watch" https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/mywatch where you can see when the last one was sent. If that has a more current date than the one you received by mail, then yes, something is likely wrong [Junk box is one of those places to check].

Appears that there is a problem at the WCG end! I have a thread watch (set at system default) on "I made a new forum signature." (Snurk's Globe thead). Last sent is currently showing Aug 9, 2012 7:34:13 AM.

Is the email address to which to send the watch message still correct? [of course it it, what a question, but still plz check on My forum profile] :O) There's a My Grid > My Profile main and team email box and there's a forum email box, but far as I know this forum email address cannot be edited and is the same as your main in My Profile.
Let me add this thread to my watch list... if I don't get any, than the problem is not member specific. Could be as simple as a frozen messaging queue that needs a kick. |

Tks for the response. The email address is the same for both My Gird..My Profile and My Forum Profile, and is correct and valid. Its not a high priority error but was raised by a fellow team member who is an infrequent visitor to the forum. Since I vist most days I hadn't realised my Watch emails had stopped functioning.

Well, no mail here. The watch was set to "No Digest", as in individual mails. The default to which all others were set is [Digest], which gives/gave me a daily summary of responses to thread being watched. Non of the threads/forums set to be watched had messages... lucky me.

I just realized that I've also not seen a "World Community Grid Forum Watch" e-mail since 08/09/2012. I have added a watch on this thread and then added this post, but I'm not sure whether the system will send me an e-mail when I reply, or only when someone else replies. I've checked the spam filter at my service provider, and found nothing caught there. I have also received several other e-mails today, not to mention since 08/09/2012.

This issue has been fixed as of a few minutes ago. You will see an email within the next day that includes the time frame from when it was last sent until now.
