Yes, I was able to do the member to member comparison. That was a good suggestion.
Also, I was able to find myself in "total run time" yesterday stats in the first 5000. Doing comparisons by members in the first 5000 gives me a good idea of how I'm progressing. I like idea of haveing my stats posted each time I post in the forums, but for now I'll would like to wait. All your post has helped me in understanding and finding myself in the first 5000. Snurks signature (available upon request) gives a good short term stats of your crunching performance with your current position. Well worth the request.

Jennifer, have you joined a team yet? I was on one team and didn't get any feedback. Then I joined MyOnlineTeam and there is a lot of communication among members. In particular, the team captain, keithhenry, keeps team stats well up to date. Our largest contributor is RT and he always has something good to say, and we also have two doctors on the team.
I am sure many of the other teams are fairly active which you can tell by going to World Community Grid Forums Category: Community Forum: Teams and browsing the list of threads to see which team might appeal to you. The first entry for each thread should have the information you need to join the team. I am sure that any questions you have about WCG will be readily answered by members of any team, and you do not need to be a member of the team to start a conversation. Happy browsing, dkt |
