Re: HCC GPU Beta July 12

After doing some review of my case, I can confirm that my participation in the HCC_GPU_Beta_July12 event effected the download of more CPU-based WUs(*a) than what my cache-settings(*b) normally currently fetch(*c) from the WCG-servers.

Notes:
*a > I'm exclusive CFSW_CPU_prod these days, so only CFSW_CPU_prod-WUs are involved in my case.
*b > Cache-settings under Win for BOINC_v7.0.25: 1.25daysMin+1.25daysMax.
*c > When doing a sync using either the "Network activity always available" or "Network activity based on preferences".

Re: HCC GPU Beta July 12

While we are on the subject, I finished 7 valid on my GT 430 (Win7 64-bit), but got a strange error on the other one. It was at the time I was Snoozing GPU on BOINC, so that may have something to do with it. Also, the GT 430 is a display card, and I was also running POEM on a Radeon HD 7770 with no monitor connected to it. But in the future I will be using the non-display Radeon HD 7770 for HCC1 and so probably won't see this one again.
