Unlike the code 195's mentioned in the zero redundancy thread, this did not end with a missing atom.
I don't see any cause at all listed, actually.

Is there a 5-hour time limit on these or something?

Hello ZoSo,
You are right. the oxc3 error does not list an error. Normally the error is listed much farther down in the VINA messages, such as in https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/...ead,33407_offset,0#383939

I seem to recall a recent comment that unusual error messages were being omitted by harried programmers, but I do not know if it applies here. Anyway, if you are worried and have not rebooted in a while, then reboot. Otherwise, let the project scientists worry about this.

That particular work unit was processed by my personal laptop (win7 x64, 4GB, dual core), which typically gets restarted at least twice/day (i.e. I rarely just close the lid to hibernate it for transport).

Don't like 195, particular because the minus sign is missing front of the 195 like in this:

ERR_NO_APP_VERSION -195

BOINC couldn't find the application's version number.

Here some google hits, with the specific "exit code 195 (0xc3)" occurring at various projects. http://www.google.it/search?q=boinc+exit+code...cial&client=firefox-a

Of those, the one at gmane, has the most interesting discussion:

The "Exceed Computing Time" at WCG is far as I know still 10 times the original FPops put in the task header data i.e. if it's thought go run 5 hours, it will hard end at 50 hours [per your systems benchmark].

Hello ZoSo,

Copy 1 ran tasks 0-15 then exited in task 16 without any error message other than calling finish. Copy 2 ran tasks 0-51 without any problems. Copy 2 ran on a faster CPU but that should not matter. So this is an error that does not generate an error message.

This is a rare case in which one person can post the specifics for both computers involved. This may or may not be helpful. In either case, this is a problem for programmers to look at.

The "Quit requested: Exiting" is output when the wrapper gets a message from the client to exit. This could be because the client is exiting or suspending the task with LAIM set to off. This exit is with status 0, not an error, so that the client will restart it when ready. I am not sure why yours was not restarted and where the exit 195 occurred since the stderr log looks normal. Is there anything strange in stdoutdae around the time of the error?
