Re: HCC June 2012 update

There was not any. I gave up on getting a forum reminder from WCG and my memory sucks so I rely on MS Office to send me a reminder. laughing

Hard to tell, Seke. I could not see who or how many participated. Lots of numbers for those that enjoy them but fewer question than the last one.

Re: HCC June 2012 update

I think it depends on the complexity of the Theme (knowledge & how goods your in English) how many questions there are ^^ I dont understood that much in the webcast with my school&IT-english, but i have nothing to do with biology and such things, only some basic knowledge from veterinary med. ;) Its still a early Phase of the project too, so ask some questions nobody can give you a answere too is not needed from my side ^^

It was a great webcast, and it worked the first time live for me *hugs & kicks his computer* :D
So i hope in Phase2 when ever it gets to it, i can ask something more detailed :)

Cant wait for my first GPU tasks :D

Re: HCC June 2012 update

no, they talked shortly about gpu but only what it is and what it changes to hcc and the speed when it goes productive. because hcc works with images it fits perfect for gpus.

With the latest increase in time frames for crunching the cpu projects this may be on hold for a bit. SekeRob indicated the increase is due to Server side issues and the need to slow down the amount of daily communication between us crunchers and the Server. Increasing the workload with gpu units is probably on hold until they figure out and address the reasons. In the past the Server has done over 300k more per day and not broken a sweat, for some reason it is now. He said they are working on it.
