World Community Grid is pleased to announce that we are releasing several new enhancements and fixes to our website today. Following is a summary of what is included in this release:
- Improved Self Help Pages to include a check for multiple member names under the same email address.
- Corrected badge order on the website.
- Updated website content for the Computing for Sustainable Water website pages.
- Changed BOINC messaging from Inconclusive to Pending Verification to alleviate confusion on results status website page.
- Enhanced our email format to include images.
- Fixed pop-up window for Points description on the MyGrid page.
- Updated the website link for the Say No to Schistosoma project.
- Updated the Research Participants page for the Clean Energy Project.
- You can choose to not receive work for your CPU. You would do this if you only wanted to run World Community Grid on your GPU. You can set this option by going to My Grid -> Device Manager -> Device Profiles and select the profile you want to customize. Within the profile, select 'Custom Profile'. On this screen go to the "Processor Usage" section and set the option "Allow research to run on my CPU?" to "No". (Note: At this time we only have limited work available for GPU processing. If set your profile to not receive work for your CPU, then little to no work will be sent.)
Thank you for your participation,
The World Community Grid Team
