confused BunTest's EURO-2012 tournament

Hello!

As probably some captains know, there is going to be WCG-EURO 2012 tournament for national teams

http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/team/challe...;pageNum=1&listType=1

I have checked many of these challenges and found that some teams that are invited are dead.

for example

for tournament Ukraine -- England , our team is set up against team "England " which is dead, and everyone knows that there is an active team UK

and so on

So please, someone who have contacts of BunTest's captain WCGCH, please tell him to reassign challenges to active teams

thanks and good luck everyone

No, and my deep thought computer has neither. Homework not done it could come across as.

Edit: Created and no one having joined yet does allow to change FAIR. BunTest set them up, so if that member-captain can't be contacted as inviting team leader by captains of invited teams, it's end of the line.

Re: BunTest's EURO-2012 tournament

yep.....

I've sent an email to support@worldcommunitygrid.org asking WCGCH's email

if It would not work we may try to host the same tourney with the right teams ourselves. Pretty cool idea, actually!

Admin, most likely, will not provide email addresses. BunTest has never posted, so cant see if the mail link was made public. For sure, those challenges starting on the 12th leaves little time.

Re: BunTest's EURO-2012 tournament

How can I change the invited teams without starting a new challenge?

Re: BunTest's EURO-2012 tournament

As noted, long as no one has joined, you can edit / delete a challenge [I think], but you'd have to play the page to find out. Could open up a test account, create a dummy and see how it works.

Re: BunTest's EURO-2012 tournament

Well, just used my test Captains account, create a dummy challenge, invited self and submitted. Then could enter edit, and the list showed the team, with on right side a Remove Team. Did that, and now have a challenge without teams invited. Then went back to edit challenge and could go into inviting cycle again, then submit.

Whilst, the search is not easy if there are common words in the team name. E.g. getting 'world community grid' team to appear in the search result box is not possible with my skills. How does one go about that?

There is no Remove Team on my page or at least I can't find it. I think, I have to start new challenges for those with dead teams...
