To David Autumns:
----------------------------------------Holy cow, your points are huge 228,402, no wonder, you have been crunching for a great amount of time 335 days you say. It is always good to see that other people like yourself are actually serious in helping out, sticking to the program for so long etcetera. ![]() http://imminst.org http://www.mprize.org http://www.gen.cam.ac.uk/sens [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Jul 17, 2005 3:12:22 PM] |

To Dave Bell:
Same goes for you as the above post Dave. Viewing the record you have given, " 1 year 54 days and 193,652 points " I can see your commitment to this noble setup. We all are truly doing some good here thus making the world a better place. ![]() http://imminst.org http://www.mprize.org http://www.gen.cam.ac.uk/sens |

How come many of you guys have so many points. I have 3ghz , 1 gig byte Ram computer running almost 24/7 every year, plus I joined at relatively early in this project. Do you guys have super computers or something? http://imminst.org http://www.mprize.org http://www.gen.cam.ac.uk/sens/ Your stats, time per result, points per hour especially are real good. All I can figure is something is usruping your proccessor if your puter is on 24/7. Did you mean " usurping " ? I check my computer with Spyware programs " Pest Patrol " and "Microsoft Anti Spyware". I will retract what I said about Trojan Defence Suite in a tread over at the other forumn. I thought it was superior, I tried it before. A person can view the registry with such a program but overall now I have come to realize that " Pest Patrol " and " Microsoft Anti Spyware " programs are superior, efficient. They detected stuff which " Trojan Defence " Suit could not. ![]() http://imminst.org http://www.mprize.org http://www.gen.cam.ac.uk/sens [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Jul 17, 2005 3:29:40 PM] |

The first time I ran MS against Spyware Eliminator (SE), MS found one that SE did not. Two days ago I reinstalled SE and ran them again. This time SE found 2 that MS did not. (One of them was Adware!) Since SE is incompatible with WCG, I'll just run it once a week as a b/u. ![]() |

----------------------------------------on the spyware front I use MS Antispyware to guard the front door a daily scheduled Spybot search and Destroy and a weekly once over with Lavasofts Adaware. The links to all these free programs are on the MOT's Website under "Interesting Links" Take care Regards dave ![]() |

Hi 12345
my points are shown below. I don't care how many I have as long as I am using the PC to the max (not wasting cycles, resources etc)... It is like you said commitment to this noble setup that keeps me here. The rest may be interest, fun, community and meeting people with similar values in life.... but at the end of the day that is all secondary - I wouldn't be crunching in the first place if the cause was not just. Keep crunching - you will catch up with everyone and definately overtake a lot of other guys anyway ![]() |
