creating a proper global_prefs_override (linux)

Hello ! Well I'm just asking this, because I dont want to mess up my settings, is there a proper way to generate a global_prefs_override file in linux to use my own settings, or I should copy from the original file.

I not see any boinccmd command to help me out.

I'm also curious about the behaving of this file such as, if I add only one line to it, the rest of the options will be read out from the original file ?

Originally I wanted to use it to set the cpu usage to 100%.
