(NaturalNews) A lot of people believe the world as we know it is going to end on December 23, 2012. Nonsense, I say. The far more honest answer is that the end of the world as we know it has already begun. And it doesn't mean the end of the world; it means the closing of one era and the birth of a new one. It is a transition between the ages. This particular transition, however, promises to be the most tumultuous and costly transition humankind has ever seen.
----------------------------------------But don't wait around for December 2012 to look for the signs. Here are 14 signs that the world as we know it is unraveling right now. We are living through the end of one era and the birth of a new one. In the future, they'll look back and call this all one moment in history, but when you're living through it, it seems to move forward at almost a snail's pace. But make no mistake: We are living through the opening chapters of the end of the world as we know it, and on the other side of all this will emerge a new world that's very different from the one we know today. http://www.naturalnews.com/032258_economic_collapse_2012.html ![]() |

Hate to say it but allot of this is close to being correct. When you spend more than your NGP, that's serious. Being optimistic, am hoping things get fixed so we don't get as bad as Greece. Time will tell. Being prepared is a smart move though.

Well, if you look at the "signs", you be able to see them ALL through earth's history, so nothing new there. My opinion is that, technologically we have progressed, but as "human beings" (get back this in sec) we are pretty much the same... not much progress on that front. And for naming ourselves "human beings"... I agree on the "beings" part... but we still have a lot of work to do on the "human" part.
----------------------------------------And what can we do about it? Just like Joe says, we have to try to make this a better place to live. CJSL Crunching for a better world |

Crops have failed throughout history. Mother nature does what it wants. My main issues in today's world are as follows (From an Americans perspective)
1) Corporate greed= nothing new here though 2) People becoming less intelligent= Even though studies have shown IQ rises over time, the fact that shows such as The Kardashians, "Real" World, Jersey Shore, (just to name a few) are so popular bothers me to no end. This is one of my main grievances. All for freedom of people to watch what they want, but I PERSONALLY believe we should not be rewarding people like this with literally MILLIONS of dollars. 3) Privacy being eroded= In America, bills such as CISPA, SOPA, and PIPA are actually being considered blows my mind. 4) (America)= Manufacturing has been going downhill for quite some time. There's more, but I would like to mention it's not all bad: 1) Places such as WCG and many other projects have come into existence. 2) Recently, many oppressive authoritarian regimes have been toppled. 3) I've always believed in the power of the masses, so whenever a tipping point is reached, change will come. We're all here such a short time, so it's best to do what you can to improve the lives around you, whatever that may be. It's one of the reasons I enjoy crunching so much. So on that note: Crunching on....... |
