Re: Computing for Sustainable Water Badge Recognition Thread

got enough tasks for the Sapphire - switching off this project to allow you crunch more WUs and get desired badges! Now back to H(C/FC)C!

happy crunching everyone!

Re: Computing for Sustainable Water Badge Recognition Thread

My sky just turned red this morning. I can turn it green in 23 more days. Lets see if there is enough time left on the project to do it. I have turned all 8 crunching cores onto this project.

Cheers coffee

Re: Computing for Sustainable Water Badge Recognition Thread

Silver. Still unsure if I should even try to go for Gold with this little time remaining. confused I know, others would want my workunits - but my aim is at least gold at every project.

Carter11 - go to gold!
get a 10 days cache :)

silver -> gold is possible if you have at least double-core machine

ps: <- Sapphire

Re: Computing for Sustainable Water Badge Recognition Thread

Carter11--I second rilian, go for the Gold! If you don't try, you will regret it every time you look at your badges. SekeRob's charts says 28 days, and you will need to squeeze 45 days of computing time out of that. Very possible with a dual-care. Even with a single core. Also, that 28 days left is factored on the current rate of completion. Soon there will be a lot of crunchers, like myself, who will attain their next badge with no hope of going to the next. They will then pull out of the crunching on this project leaving more units for those like yourself.

I plan on getting the emerald in 12 days, but there is no hope for a sapphire. Same is probably true for many getting a ruby about now.

So be optimistic and crunch on! And remember that 10 day cache towards the end!!
