I switched 1 machine to receive some HCMD2 tasks but they all fail to download with file and checksum errors as reported by Boinctasks. 16 so far.

All other projects have no issues. I've stopped trying to get them for now.

You printed the problem right there, and warned for several times on these forums... 7.012-7.0.17 cannot handle certain file compressions. Stay abreast of the pitfalls that come with alpha development clients use in a production environment, is what is strongly advised.

It's not the only WCG science that cannot be downloaded with the said 7.0.12-7.0.17 point releases. They break any science tasks that have gzb/gz files.

Thanks. Since POEM requires a version 7 client I guess I won't be doing any HCMD2. While POEM demands v7, they don't demand you to use the old 7.0.14-client. Try upgrading to 7.0.2x instead.  "I make so many mistakes. But then just think of all the mistakes I don't make, although I might." |

Thanks. Since POEM requires a version 7 client I guess I won't be doing any HCMD2. HCMD2 works fine with ver. 7.0.23 on my XP machine, if you want to give that version a try. |
