The BOINC Manager doesn't show the graphic slideshow in project window, only default boinc graphic as bellow.
BOINC Manager keeps the project files (Windows 7 64bit Home Premium) in C:\Program Data\BOINC\ and there in the slots folder the manager downloads the files for the projects.. I've noticed, that the .tga files are 88bytes/each (eg. SNS_Slide and so on), and inside those slideshow files I can see something like: <link>../../projects/www.worldcommunitygrid.org/c4cw_image06_6.41.tga</soft_link> or similiar with other tga link? I tried to restart the WCG project in BOINC, also deleted and added the project again. The grahpics aren't displayed :(. |

The BOINC Simple View slides that show whilst a SNS2 job runs count 7... 1 gif, 6 jpg, varying in size from 4 to 52KB. The Project Graphics Window pulls on about 42 .tga files that are from few hundred to 4 thousand KB. Both these sets reside in the www.worldcommunitygrid.org folder, where the slots will symlink to those files [opening will just give an Invalid Image type of black window]. Can't remember now, but you need OpenGL drivers for the video to see the project graphics.

Thanks, so its driver related? I have Radeon HD5830 and it should support opengl by default? The drivers are Catalyst 12.1.

It's one possibility. Could be a setting on your system like the acceleration functions. Can you see any of the other sciences graphics such as for GFAM or DSFL?

Can it be Adobe Flash related? Maybe BOINC Manager uses flash to show the slideshow? As far I remember I disabled the hardware acceleration in flash. I will check this at home. Of course all the projects displays nothing.

No, the only dependency I know is OpenGL: http://boincfaq.mundayweb.com/index.php?view=194 . The software has to be otherwise independent of other gizmoz such as FLASH/GNASH/Macromedia etc as else it would not run on multi platforms.

Its system or client related, I have the second PC, with different hardware (Core i3), but with the same OS Windows 7 64bit Home Proffesional, BOINC Client 6.12.34 64bit. I will check on different client later.
