Dear Community,
I am looking for an online recording of the webcast on World Water Day of Mr. Gray. Has anyone found a video online? Or is there anybody who could upload at least some interesting parts of the webcast on youtube? Thank you so much for every help! Beccy |

Hi,
----------------------------------------Usually the link is put in the News article several days to a week after a webcast, similar to the last one of FightAIDS: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/about_us/viewNewsArticle.do?articleId=190 . Plz check again in a few days. I missed the online one but looked at the webcast after having received a mail from WCG with the link. Excellent presentation that answered some questions I had. And again it is interesting to see that nature is non-linear at its fundamental scale.
----------------------------------------I was a little puzzled to see that in the mail In addition as usual to my statistics I also got a nice picture reminding me that I had only 68 days left to get the Ruby badge for DDDT2. That was frustrating as I tried hard to get WUs since the beginning of this project but never succeeded to get more than a few and it took me ages to get to Gold. And the project being intermittent my chances to get to Ruby are nearly nil. But ok WCG, yes no problem at all, just send me WUs, not one or two but a few thousand and then I will get to ruby, emerald, sapphire no problem. |

DDDT2 or HCMD2? The last few times the newsletter was send, the HCMD2 was moved to Intermittent to prevent exactly that. What I'm saying is, Intermittent researches are not meant to give a badge reminder.
------------------------------------------//-- edit: Weird, as you have a sapphire for HCMD2. 2nd Account on another email address of yours? Else, it could be a bug AFAIAI. [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Mar 30, 2012 10:30:47 AM] |

Hypernova and SekeRob,
There are two things at play here. 1. DDDT2 being shown as possible badge. Originally we had decided to allow this to be in the list as the design was Active Badges available to grab. But due to lack of work units, the projected is Active Intermittent on the back end. This means that out of all the active projects, it was the last possible badge to be listed, if you got a notice about that badge, then you have all other Active badges. Only 47 people out of 400,000+ emails sent had this case. You being one of them. 2. HCMD2 was previously omitted from the possible list of Active projects since it is winding down. But I made a mistake and did not remove it from the list before the emails were sent. So this past newsletter members also got notices that they could get the next badges for HCMD2. Which is still technically possible. So, what I plan to fix. I am going to change the way the projects able to be included. This means that DDDT2 and HCMD2 will be omitted from future emails as well as allow for easier method to omit projects from the list of possible badges. Thanks, -Uplinger |

Thanks, but now I wonder what you had in your newsletter... no mans land... no reminder for anything achievable. Bummer, you might after all still have to convince Bill to give the bovermanium [BM] badge, that newly discovered super-rare element just added to the periodic table ;>)
