See Uplinger's post about the validators earlier in this thread (Mar 16, 2012 8:42:37 PM). The validators stay off until the techs have made use of the results in the database. We are past his timeframe of "usually 24 hours after the start", but it is weekend. We're all waiting similarly to you!

Re: Large DSFL Beta Test March 16, 2012

7 of 9 WUs sitting in PV jail right now, barely 20h together, that leaves me still two days of runtime short to finally get the bronze batch for this, so I don't care how long it takes until the validators get turned back on... whistling

Re: Large DSFL Beta Test March 16, 2012

If 7 of 9 are in PV jail, what about the other 2... "still" in progress?

Et Al, How about cutting some slag. It IS weekend, in the USA and Colombia. Those results wont run away. Never has a properly uploaded and reported task that reached PV state with complete quorum before.

Not sure why you are quoting me here, but yes, at that time two WUs were officially still "in progress", as they haven't been reported yet. As we had the discussion in another place, reporting doesn't always happen right away.
Now it's only one WU left "in progress" and that is on a laptop that either isn't connected to the Internet right now or has gone down due to prolonged power outage during yesterday's heavy rainstorm...

And to make it clear, if you read my whole reply, I did not complain about the validator not running here...

Re: Large DSFL Beta Test March 16, 2012

That's why I wrote "Et Al"", not meaning At Al ;) Why I quoted?... is it important? Yes, I inadvertently caused a few more lines to download and and more scroll.

Enjoy crunching :D

P.S. Last night fell to sleep on sofa and woke up under a plaid some 4 hours later, decided on some sapping, which put 7 of 9 on the TV. Escaped from Borg. :P

Re: Large DSFL Beta Test March 16, 2012

I crunched just 2 WUs at 2.28 and 4.84 hrs on my best cruncher. They completed normal. The hopper ran dry before I even knew a beta test was in progress.

Cheers coffee

Just so you can sleep more soundly, the last of those 9 Beta WUs reported for duty a minute ago and is anxiously waiting to be released from jail.... biggrin
