Return Date Change?

I have a FAAH WU that my BOINC manager says is due by 13/3 but the results stats on the server says it is due 15/3

Time of day is the same just 2 days later.
Is this just a quirk of the server upgrade.

Not a problem as it will be submitted by tomorrow.

WCG uses a grace-period of 2 days, meaning a result can be returned upto 2 days after the deadline but still be guaranteed credit.

While the old server-code in database used the deadline and would re-issue the wu then the deadline was over, the new server-code instead uses deadline + grace-period in database, and won't re-issue the wu until the grace-period is over.

For this reason there is now a 2-day difference between client and web-pages.

Re: Return Date Change?

Hi pcwr,
This is a quirk of the server code, which has started showing a hidden grace period that has always been there for certain purposes. I expect that it will eventually disappear again.
