Re: Say No to Schistosoma Project Recognition Thread

It's a real devious one... it has to pass back in a phase through a snail, before it can return in it's new offspring to the next to be infected... you'd wonder now when eating escargots :|

The auto-populate script is now complete.

Re: Say No to Schistosoma Project Recognition Thread

The auto-populate script is still working. We have about 100,000 more profiles to update.

Does this explain why I'm getting GFAM (not selected and also no work from other projects allowed) and not the only selected SN2S?

Here is what I see for you:

Default
Auto Opt In - No
Allow Non Selected Projects - No
Projects Selected - SN2S
Beta - Yes

School
Auto Opt In - No
Allow Non Selected Projects - No
Projects Selected - DDDT
Beta - Yes

Work
Auto Opt In - No
Allow Non Selected Projects - No
Projects Selected - DSFL
Beta - Yes

Home
Auto Opt In - Yes
Allow Non Selected Projects - No
Projects Selected - SN2S
Beta - Yes

I do not understand why you should be getting GFAM. I see that you have 2 left in progress on one of your computers (you cancelled the others). Can you not make changes to your project selection and let me know if you get any more GFAM over the next day? thanks.

"(you cancelled the others)"

No doubt there will be a slight increase in the repair queue. :O

Re: Say No to Schistosoma Project Recognition Thread

Hi Kevin,

I first tried the Default and got only GFAM's, that I cancelled.
Then I created the for me new home profile with only SN2S and attached that to the host.
Also getting only GFAM's. GFAM was the only project in my 'old' Default profile, before I changed it.

Although SN2S already selectable it seems not to work until the script passed my account.

The good news: meanwhile it's working correctly.

Thanks and cheers.

Re: Say No to Schistosoma Project Recognition Thread

The radio crackles: Lift-off. Lift-off. We have a lift-off! A lift-off for the first WCG project launched for year 2012. smile applause

My Win-machine got twenty-six(26) WCG SN2S WUs of the name: SN2S_A37114_0000023 _xxxx while I scheduled my Ubu-machine to download the project's WUs later. I'm going all-in on this one just to help give SN2S that launch boost. If the sterling performance of earlier VINA-based projects DSFL and GFAM is any indication, and combined with the superb SN2S beta results, this (production) SN2S baby is going to fly high with them (production) DSFL/GFAM!

Mine is working now, I went in and manually stopped the new projects units as I am working on CEP2 right now, but I will then turn it back on. I also unchecked the box so it won't happen again. After I finish my goals I WILL turn it back on though. I am more of a all my resources on one project at a time kind of guy rather than a shotgun do them all at once guy.

Re: Say No to Schistosoma Project Recognition Thread

WOW... I wasn't expecting a Schisto WU to show up !!! It took me a few moments to figure out what that strange named WU was doing on my tasks queue. This is good.. more bugs to crunch wink . The only drawback is for those of us that have Snurk signature... we're going to get set back on the Globe Ranking Table/List (oh well... we knew this coming/going to happen). Also, Sekerob is going to have to update his dashboard. Lots of fun and games to come.

Happy Crunchings.
