Yes, you can. You should however note, that in that case, new work is only requested after the recently finished task is completely uploaded. And especially with CEP2, this can take a while, depending on your upload speed. Which also means that your machine might sit idle for a few minutes between CEP2 tasks.

P.S.: Sorry for going off-topic...

EDIT: Of course, this all assumes that you leave the CEP2 setting at 1 per machine.

Jack007,

Wow, Snurk musta added this project in,
2.01 years barely hanging on to my blue globe.
I do believe that he's coded it in such a way that it automatically updates whenever a new project launches.

Re: Say No to Schistosoma Project Recognition Thread

There's a recent Minimum / Maximum additional buffer topic if you wish to get wiser on the matter and input any observation before the draft FAQ gets turned into a permanent FAQ in Start Here. The work requesting with zero buffer is not always the same across different versions, past present and future :D

Let's try and keep this thread just on SN2S badges and personal achievement progress on SN2S science.

Re: Say No to Schistosoma Project Recognition Thread

Question for Admins - why is it placed before the GFAM badge?

Because we goofed. We will fix it sometime in the next couple of weeks - it requires some changes to the order by clause of several db queries.

When does it show up on the list of my projects? I already have some completed and validated but it is not on the list. It is not a matter of not having a badge as I do not have a Beta Badge yet but it is on the my projects list.

Re: Say No to Schistosoma Project Recognition Thread

Time of validation is not necessarily the time that quorum was complete. Sometimes hours can pass depending on general server load, or days if the "ready to validate" flag was missed to be set [then it can take until you hit the "try validation" button, if it shows, or when it's time to check if an extra copy needs to be send [after 10 days from original receipt... see FAQs]. It will show, eventually :D

That's good, because I was planning on a pair of silver bookends. wink
But that could change if that GPU beta project ever get started. cool
