Hi
----------------------------------------Open a terminal and type top -u boinc Is there any boinc process? If not, type sudo service boinc-client start Does that execute? I've found on 10.04 and 10.10 that the core daemon would not autostart, so added a launcher to the start applications list [somewhere in the gnome menus] Upgrading to 11.10 would have been a substantially better choice [IMNSHO], or then wait for 12.04 LTS due out in April. --//-- edit: presume you got BOINC from Synaptic or the Ubuntu software centre. Integrates better into the OS. [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Jan 29, 2012 11:53:13 AM] |
