On the errors' topic, I have so far 18 of those, and some are downloading errors, other are bad wus with server aborting the fifth copy, but some are as follows, in particular I would like to know how to avoid the first kind:
1. <core_client_version>6.10.58</core_client_version> <![CDATA[ <message> CreateProcess() failed - The paging file is too small for this operation to complete. (0x5af) 2. The signal handler cannot be set. (0xd2) - exit code 210 (0xd2) </message> <stderr_txt> diagnostics_init_unhandled_exception_monitor(): Creating hExceptionMonitorThread failed, errno 22 WARNING: BOINC Windows Runtime Debugger has been disabled. start_timer_thread(): CreateThread() failed, errno 22 [ERROR] Initializing BOINC failed. BOINC error: 22: Error 22 3. Unhandled Exception Detected... - Unhandled Exception Record - Reason: Access Violation (0xc0000005) at address 0x008E848A read attempt to address 0xB8CE6200 Thanks |

This one is strange:

Unless it's a machine coming back from 10 years in the future? My guess is that this machine didn't report back the error for whatever reason. Regards, Martin ![]() |

From a device, 5 years in the past:
----------------------------------------dg05_ a281_ pca014_ 0-- 95711 Valid 21-1-2012 0:57:00 20-1-2012 23:52:32 0,54 5,8 6,9 119,41 12,78 DDDT2 Windows 7 - 32 16-1-2012 0:27:51 There's a small percent that run very fast, and validate! @RCC_Survivor and all, Error 29 is known. Again a small percent suffers from this. They usually fail at the first checkpoint [which can be 20 minutes and longer] @latakia, would need to forum re-search if your errors were seen before or a tech reply. If all the same machine, then boot... never hurts. My stats have climbed to 701 processed [in this run], 3 inconclusive [from same device, normal logs], 1 with error 29 [4 copies had this, 5th server aborted]. 1 : 701 = 0.14%. --//-- [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Jan 21, 2012 10:03:27 AM] |

Three wingmen and I have gotten Error 29 on dg05_b155_pr91b0. That's the only DDDT2 WU that I've run in the last couple of days.

SeKeRob,
----------------------------------------Why don't they run these DDDT2 work units as Beta until they get the bugs out?

The "bugs" are well below the threshold to stop production. Whilst yoro42 may have had a longer list, his were from a download failure in the cloud, error -200, nothing wrong with the WU. These will be pulled and reissued.

Here's another code 29 WU that I don't see reported above.

Some days ago I was wondering about a strange "PV":
----------------------------------------This one is strange: dg05_ a050_ pqb002_ 4-- 640 Pending Validation 15.01.12 22:48:20 17.01.12 14:39:40 0.18 3.5 / 0.0 dg05_ a050_ pqb002_ 3-- 640 Error 14.01.12 16:30:55 15.01.12 22:47:49 0.22 3.8 / 3.8 dg05_ a050_ pqb002_ 2-- 640 Error 14.01.12 16:08:51 14.01.12 16:20:30 0.16 3.8 / 3.8 <-- mine dg05_ a050_ pqb002_ 1-- - In Progress 13.01.12 05:06:36 23.01.12 05:06:36 0.00 0.0 / 0.0 dg05_ a050_ pqb002_ 0-- 640 Error 13.01.12 05:06:31 14.01.12 15:47:10 0.23 5.5 / 5.5 Here is the latest on this particular WU: dg05_ a050_ pqb002_ 4-- 640 Too Late 15.01.12 22:48:20 17.01.12 14:39:40 0.18 3.5 / 3.5 dg05_ a050_ pqb002_ 3-- 640 Error 14.01.12 16:30:55 15.01.12 22:47:49 0.22 3.8 / 3.8 dg05_ a050_ pqb002_ 2-- 640 Error 14.01.12 16:08:51 14.01.12 16:20:30 0.16 3.8 / 3.8 dg05_ a050_ pqb002_ 1-- 640 User Aborted 13.01.12 05:06:36 23.01.12 03:56:26 0.00 0.0 / 0.0 dg05_ a050_ pqb002_ 0-- 640 Error 13.01.12 05:06:31 14.01.12 15:47:10 0.23 5.5 / 5.5 So the PV that I questioned was converted into "too late". Not exactly what you would expect, but maybe the only way to grant some points? Regards, Martin ![]() |
