Would like to get at least one for my IBM R40 laptop that I've had some stuck WUs on, but can't seem to get any BETA WUs. I've up'd the cache, nothing. Got two production GFAM WUs in my local cache already I haven't processed yet, don't want to abort them to clean my cache. I'll keep clicking ... Update ... Update ... Update ... I'm guessing they are already gone...I missed out  |

Well, my quad netted a few with more jobs, and with WtD set to 30 minutes, none write earlier, but the stderr.txt file shows multiple jobs completed in that time... think this is an early thumbs up.

Only got 2 BETA_ GFAM. Both ran fine on Linux and finished just under 7 hours. (6.75 & 6.90)
I always seem to get only 1 or 2 Beta's each round. I guess it's because I keep a 0.0 day work buffer. I kinda wish the Beta's would just ignore work buffer settings and dump them to me anyway.  Oh well only 10 days worth of Beta's till my Bronze Badge... |

I got two GFAM betas, but I don't think I'm much help. I was out all day yesterday and didn't know I had them so didn't turn on checkpoint debugging. They ran fine on an AMD Phenom II under Linux, 6.82 and 7.07 hours, and have validated.

Picked up one WU on a "remote" host, which I only noticed when it showed as pending validation.

I did GREAT on this load of beta's managed to get over 3 days worth... less than 10 more sill silver beta... oh well maybe by 2013....

Went through various result logs [speaking of both DSFL and GFAM in this double test] and put them against the message log to see if any had violated the client checkpoint save setting of 30 minutes. As per me "early thumbs up", none did, recording multiple jobs and then saving on the next job completion when 30 minutes had passed. In short, they behaved as the doctor prescribed; Ready to move to production on the checkpoint count. :D
